Angela here, owner of Aisle Studio: Bespoke Bridal. We are so excited that you’re here, and we can’t wait for you to see all that Aisle Studio has to offer you. Whether you’re a previous Fab Frocks Bride, or visiting us for the first time, I wanted to share with you how we made the decision to refresh our brand, and offer a new bridal shopping experience in Kansas City! 

Have you ever wanted to make a new name for yourself? Maybe you’ve grown, learned something new, or just want to show off the amazing person you’ve worked so hard to become? I have! And businesses go through that too – especially small businesses like Fab Frocks!

Let me take you back to where it all began. I started Fabulous Frocks for one simple reason: I wanted to be my own boss! I knew I had what it took to create something and make it great. And, not to toot my own horn, but I’m pretty proud of what Fabulous Frocks Bridal turned into! I originally got my degree in event planning, but that can be a very demanding job (shoutout all of our vendor friends, we see you!!!!) So then I wondered, what could I do to combine my love for fashion, working with people, and being a strong female leader in the industry? Enter Fabulous Frocks. When I first opened the doors to Fabulous Frocks in August of 2017, I started with the guidance of the other franchise owners. They helped me curate a collection of designer off the rack styles, showed me the ropes of owning my own business, and providing the support needed to be successful. However, I quickly fell in love with the art of customizing, creating, and putting together a one-of-a-kind look for each bride that shopped with me. From there, I started working with designers and carrying made to order collections to really cater to my brides. The growth just continued from there!

I have owned and operated Fabulous Frocks for nine years now, and over time, I have tweaked, developed, and curated not only what we offer to our brides, but our entire experience too. That also includes the people you interact with, like our lead stylist Raegan, and the designers we (and you!) have fallen in love with – designers who help us create custom gowns that are truly one-of-a-kind.. 

What started as Fabulous Frocks, a luxury consignment boutique, has evolved into a place that is much more personal. Now, it is about creating a gown that reflects you, as a bride – with a stylist who sees and understands your vision, bringing it to life together!  Offering our brides gowns in any size, color, or neckline became extremely important to me – and not to brag, but , I became extremely good it!.  Passing on this knowledge and expertise to any stylist you may have worked with was paramount to our success. 

As we moved away from the off-the-rack concept and into the world of bespoke bridal, we had to ask ourselves, do we really fit within the Fabulous Frocks brand any more? Our brides began truly loving the custom experience, and that’s where we truly shine. From our designers to our veil maker, your aisle style is tailored just  for you. 

So, here we are! We are excited, intentional, and more than ready for what’s next. Welcome to Aisle Studio: where “bespoke bridal” is bright to life every step of the way.

If you have shopped with Fabulous Frocks, or know someone who has, you might be wondering what’s changing. Well first, here’s what won't change: Angela and Raegan and here to stay. We are still in our same location in the charming West Plaza. And, the detail and thoughtfulness that we put into each bridal appointment is still our signature – just enhanced and refined for today's bride. 

Many of our designers are staying the same too! Our expertise in bespoke bridal really started to develop years ago with them! We are deeply in tune with our designers' offerings to help you create a bespoke gown to walk down the aisle in. And that doesn’t stop with our gowns – even our veils are the most custom in the biz! 

In addition to our experience, we are giving our space a little refresh (can’t wait to show you!) so you can hang with your girls in a space just as stylish as our gowns. We have also streamlined our booking process, as well as updated our visuals to better pair with our passion of creating a bespoke gown to walk down the aisle in. And so, I owe so much to the Fabulous Frocks brand and thank every single individual that had a hand in us as Fabulous Frocks. I wish my amazing friends and partners nothing but the absolute best. While we are onto this next chapter, I will never forget where we came from.  To all of our past brides who found their gown as a Fab Frocks bride: we welcome you into the Aisle Studio fold. You are how we got here today. By listening to your desires, trying every step of the way to fulfill them, and because your support led to our immense growth, we can now dive deeper into our authentic selves as Aisle Studio with gratefulness to you forever and always.
