If sunshine could be bottled and turned into a wedding, it would look exactly like Katie and Jack’s big day at The Grand Hall in Downtown Kansas City. From the moment the first mimosa was poured to the last twirl on the dance floor, this wedding was pure joy—bright, bold, and bursting with love (and a lot of pink and orange!).

Katie was the epitome of a glowing summer bride, and her dress? Let’s just say it was the one. Designed by Moonlight Bridal, her gown was a custom creation that struck the perfect balance between timeless elegance and soft romance. The silhouette was a dreamy A-line made from luxurious mikado fabric—structured enough to make a statement, yet light enough for Katie to float through the day like a summer breeze.

The classic sweetheart neckline framed her smile beautifully, while the finishing touches took the look to the next level. She accessorized with Sara Gabriel pieces that added just the right amount of sparkle and whimsy. And let’s not forget the pièce de résistance—a custom bow added to the back of the dress, giving her look a sweet, personal twist that had everyone swooning.

Katie shared a little about her dress shopping experience with us, too (cue the happy tears again):

“Getting my dress with you all was one of the most simple and fun parts of the wedding planning process! Shopping at your store I felt so comfortable and relaxed. In fact, I think I only tried on 5-6 dresses before I found the one! Leaving I couldn’t get over how easy it all was because it was a process I was nervous would be stressful! I also appreciated how helpful Regan was when try to find a person to go through for alterations. She recommended Morgan Allen to us and we had just as an amazing experience with Morgan as we did with Aisle Studio. I am so grateful to have met you all! I have been telling all my engaged friends to check you all out!”

The Grand Hall was the perfect setting for their celebration. Elegant, timeless, and full of natural light, it made those dreamy summer colors pop like a Kansas City sunset. The floral arrangements danced between peach, coral, blush, and tangerine—basically a living Pinterest board come to life. Every detail was thoughtfully planned but felt effortless, kind of like Katie and Jack themselves.

And let’s talk about those iconic wedding party photos! With the energy of a rom-com movie poster, Katie, Jack, their flower girls, and the entire wedding crew hit the streets of Downtown KC like total pros. Strutting across crosswalks and laughing between traffic lights, the photos captured the vibe perfectly: bold, joyful, and totally unforgettable.

We’re still smiling thinking about it.
